Swapping Britain for Bulgaria

What is it like to live in the poorest part of the poorest country in the EU?

At the same time as fears were being expressed over how many Bulgarians and Romanians might move to the UK, a British couple was making the opposite journey.

Kate and Terry Humphries moved from a village in Rutland, England, to north-west Bulgaria late last year.

They showed Matthew Price around their new home and neighbourhood.
