UK floods to continue in SW as more rain hits

Thousands of people in southern England have been warned that flood waters could rise again today as more heavy rain hits saturated ground.

A severe rain weather warning is in place for south-west England and 16 severe flood warnings in southern England.

The situation in the worst hit areas of the Thames is expected to improve this week.
