Much of England and Wales is in danger of further flooding despite a break in the long spell of stormy weather.

There are still 16 severe flood warnings in place across southern England and more than 15,000 homes are still without power.

Many areas are clearing up after the floods and storm damage.

Chris Eakin reports from Hursley in Hampshire where one resident is clearing up after the storm felled a 250-year-old tree.
