UK floods: 'Rumours about funding not true', says David Cameron

Prime Minister David Cameron has defended criticism over the handling of flooding across the UK.

Heavy rain is hitting south-west England, with strong winds in the Isles of Scilly and snow on higher ground.

Mr Cameron, speaking on BBC Breakfast, said that any rumours about a lack of resources are "not true".
