Military on the streets in Berkshire

The flooding in southern England shows no signs of abating.

Weather forecasters warn that some areas could see another month's worth of rain over the next few days.

Sixteen severe flood warnings remain in place, mainly in the county of Berkshire, where more than 1,000 homes have been evacuated.
