In Wraysbury, in Berkshire, volunteers have been working to help those affected by the floods ahead of the arrival of official assistance.

Among the teams working out of a local school is a group of RSPCA workers, who arrived in the town on Monday.

Rosie Russon told the BBC how they had been helping rescue people as well as animals from flooded areas and buildings.
