Dawlish rail line before, during and after Feb 2014 storm

6 February 2014 Last updated at 13:35 GMT

Video shows how the railway line at Dawlish looked before, during and after Tuesday night's stormy weather.

The line in Devon was left hanging in mid-air after rough seas ripped away the supporting concrete and ballast.

Repairs to the track, which links Devon and Cornwall to the rest of the country, could take up to six weeks.
