Call for peace ahead of Duggan vigil

11 January 2014 Last updated at 08:56 GMT

The family of Mark Duggan has called for calm ahead of a vigil in Tottenham later to remember the man shot dead by police in August 2011.

It follows an inquest jury's conclusion that the 29-year-old was lawfully killed, sparking riots in many English cities.

Mr Duggan's aunt Carole Duggan has said the family intends to "struggle peacefully to get justice".

Mike Sergeant reports.
