Archbishop Welby delivers first new year message

In his first new year message as Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby has called on people to emulate Nelson Mandela and help to change the world around them.

He said the church would continue to talk about poverty and other social issues, because they were part of its duty to promote Christian values.
