£27m visitor centre to 'restore dignity' of Stonehenge

A new £27m visitor centre is opening at Stonehenge, the largest capital project ever undertaken by English Heritage.

It stands one and a half miles (2km) from the stones, and is said to "restore the dignity" of the monument, which attracts around one million visitors per year.
