Heathrow runway plans: 'Determination and grit' in Sipson

17 December 2013 Last updated at 10:02 GMT

A new Heathrow runway and extending a current runway are two options that have been shortlisted by the Airports Commission - as it considers ways to expand UK airport capacity.

Jane Taylor is the chair of the Sipson Residents' Association. She told the BBC's Richard Lister that people were weary of fighting to protect their homes but still had "a lot of determination and grit".
