Family's concern for doctor imprisoned in Syria

The family of a British doctor imprisoned over a year ago by the Syrian government say they are growing increasingly concerned for his mental health.

Dr Abbas Khan was arrested while working as an emergency surgeon in Aleppo. The BBC has seen two letters written by Dr Khan saying he has been subjected to severe beatings by his captors.
