Convicted Marine sergeant named as Alexander Blackman

A Royal Marine who murdered an injured insurgent in Afghanistan has been named as Sergeant Alexander Wayne Blackman.

Sgt Blackman, who had been known as Marine 'A', lost his appeal against a ruling, at a Military Court, that he should be publicly named.
