A man has admitted murdering Georgia Williams, the 17-year-old daughter of a police detective.

Georgia, 17, went missing from her home in Wellington on 26 May. Her body was found in woodland off the Nant-y-Garth pass near Wrexham four days later.

Post-mortem tests revealed she died of pressure being applied to her neck.

Jamie Reynolds, 23, pleaded guilty to murder at Stafford Crown Court. He will be sentenced on 19 December.

Sian Lloyd reports.
