Sister of Bristol murder victim: Killing was 'barbaric act'

27 November 2013 Last updated at 22:00 GMT

The sister of a man who was beaten and set on fire following rumours he was a paedophile has told the BBC's Jon Kay her family are struggling to come to terms with what happened to her brother,

The body of Manisha Moores' brother, Bijan Ebrahimi, was found in July in Brislington after he was harassed by residents who believed he had taken indecent images of children.

Lee James, 24, has admitted his murder and is due to be sentenced on Thursday.

Mr Ebrahimi's family say they want to see justice for those who "failed to protect" him, including the police.

Watch the interview with Manisha Moores in full on Newsnight on Wednesday 27 November 2013 at 2230 on BBC Two, and then afterwards on the BBC iPlayer and Newsnight website.
