England cricket fans in Brisbane for opening Ashes test

20 November 2013 Last updated at 14:25 GMT

England's 'Barmy Army' of cricket fans got their nickname for their willingness to spend a lot of money travelling to see a team which didn't win very often.

England start the latest Test series as holders of the Ashes having completed a 3-0 series win in August and aim to win a fourth consecutive series for the first time since 1890.

Cricket fans who travelled to Brisbane for the first Test tell the BBC why they made the journey and whether they think England can win.
