How did acid house change the British music scene?

16 November 2013 Last updated at 12:43 GMT

It is 25 years since acid house music went mainstream. So what's the legacy of this ground-breaking music genre?

The DJ Annie Nightingale, who championed the scene on Radio 1, discusses the movement's legacy with Paul Staines - better known as the blogger Guido Fawkes - who, in the late 80s, was a spokesman for acid house.

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Saturday 16 November 2013.
