Four people arrested on suspicion of "failing to disclose information" in relation to alleged terror offences have been released on bail, Scotland Yard says.

Two men, aged 21 and 31, and a woman, 25, were arrested at two residential addresses in east London on Thursday.

A 25-year-old man was also arrested yesterday at a residential address in Lancashire.

All four were released on bail last night, police said.

They had been held at police stations in London and Lancashire respectively after being arrested on suspicion of "failing to disclose information which might be of assistance in securing the apprehension, prosecution or conviction of a person involved in an act of terrorism".

The Metropolitan Police said they were arrested under section 38(b) of the Terrorism Act 2000.
