Pensioner refuses to leave crumbling cliff-top bungalow

16 October 2013 Last updated at 16:17 BST

A pensioner living on a crumbling cliff-top in Skipsea, East Yorkshire, is refusing to move out of her bungalow until the council give her compensation - despite having lost half her garden to the sea.

Janet Ellis believes she should be compensated because East Riding of Yorkshire Council chose not to install coastal defences.

Linsey Smith reports.
