Northern Ireland minister to challenge gay adoption rule

Northern Ireland's Health Minister, Edwin Poots, is to appeal to the Supreme Court to prevent gay couples from adopting children.

Belfast's Court of Appeal ruled in June that a ban affecting gay, lesbian and unmarried couples was unlawful.
