Two in custody after Dover arrests

Two men aged 29 and 22 are in custody in London after being arrested by Kent Police on Monday under the 2000 Terrorism Act.

A quantity of ammunition was seized and a property in east London has been searched after the two, both British citizens, were detained in Dover.

They had just arrived from Calais and are being questioned about terrorism offences overseas.

The Met Police's Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) is investigating.
