7 September 2013 Last updated at 18:12 BST

The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Charles have attended the annual Braemar Gathering, the largest event in the Highland Games calendar.

It is Prince Philip's second public engagement since a two-month period of convalescence after undergoing surgery.

The competition takes place at The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park, which is short distance from the Queen's Balmoral Estate.
