Olympic investment boost to last decade - Cable

The boost to the UK economy from hosting the Olympic Games will be "considerable" Vince Cable has said.

The business secretary told BBC Breakfast that the year since the Games had seen a £9.9bn increase in investment and trade, and could rise to up to £40bn by 2020.

The cost of hosting the event came to £8.9bn.
