Pigs heads left outside Muslim home in Bradford

2 July 2013 Last updated at 16:26 BST

A Muslim family in Bradford has found four pigs' heads placed outside their house in a suspected racist attack.

The Dittas say they have never experienced racism like it in their 60 years in the city, but think they have been targeted following the murder of soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich. Police are investigating what happened.

Daughter Sophia Ditta told BBC Asian Network presenter Chetan Pathak what had happened was ''shocking and disappointing.''

''A few idiots are not going to scare us,'' she said. She added she since found a similar thing had happened to a neighbour.
