Spending review: Stephanie Flanders crunches the numbers

Chancellor George Osborne has unveiled a new round of spending cuts targeting benefit claimants, public sector workers and expatriate pensioners.

The cuts have been forced on the Chancellor after the government had to revise its own deadline for growth and reducing the deficit.

Stephanie Flanders assesses the impact of the Chancellor's plans to save £11.5bn from Whitehall budgets.
