Tributes to soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Help

Tributes have been paid to three British soldiers, who died when their vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

Fusilier Samuel Flint, Private Robert Hetherington, and Corporal William Savage from the Royal Regiment Of Scotland were travelling in a Mastiff, which until now has been seen as the safest vehicle used in Helmand.

Six other soldiers were also wounded in the blast.

The BBC's Defence Correspondent, Caroline Wyatt reports.
