Sinn Fein's Francie Molloy wins Mid Ulster by-election


Sinn Fein candidate Francie Molloy has won the by-election to fill the vacant Mid Ulster seat at Westminster.

The poll was called following the resignation of Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness, who stood down as MP for the constituency at the end of 2012. Mr Molloy polled 17,462 votes (46.93%) to retain the seat with a reduced majority.
