Lakeside 'litter pick' clean up turned into art work
Hundreds of scuba divers have taken part in a litter pick in Windermere, in Cumbria's Lake District.
The clean-up, the largest of its kind in Britain, took place in the area around Bowness Pier where it is believed most potentially dangerous waste lies.
Debris collected included traffic cones, sunglasses, bottles, tin cans and a child's scooter.
Rubbish found in the clean-up will be used for sculptures in school art projects.
Jill Archbold reports.
