GP: 'Gastroenteritis is very common'

The Queen has cancelled a planned trip to Swansea to celebrate St David's Day because she has developed symptoms of a stomach bug.

Dr Richard Vautrey, a Leeds based GP, told the BBC that gastroentiritis usually does not last very long and is very common.

He said there is always a risk when someone is frail.
