John Kerry and David Cameron set for Downing St talks

John Kerry has arrived for a meeting with the UK's prime minister in London, as part of his first trip abroad as US secretary of state.

It is the first stop on his tour, which will take in Europe's main capitals, Turkey and the Middle East. Syria and the Falkland Islands are expected to be discussed.

Mr Kerry succeeded Hillary Clinton as the top US diplomat in early February.

The BBC's Naomi Grimley outlines Mr Kerry's priorities for the trip.
