Watchdog warns of energy bill rises

Help

Consumers are being warned they face higher energy bills as the UK becomes more reliant on energy imports.

Some power stations are being taken out of service because they are old, or too polluting, meaning Britain is having to import more gas.

The head of the energy watchdog, Ofgem, says this will result in customers having to pay more.

Keith Doyle reports.
