Horsemeat scandal: Retailers must restore consumer confidence
Food retailers are in agreement they must restore "consumer confidence" in the wake of the horsemeat scandal, the British Retail Consortium has said.
Environment Secretary Owen Paterson held talks with retailers, including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons.
He said it was up to food businesses to complete tests, publish results and convince the public.
