Same-sex parent: 'We wanted our own children'

He has since tried to clarify his comments by saying he is not opposed to gay partners raising children but thinks marriage should be reserved for heterosexual couples.
Natalie Drew, who has two children with her partner, Ashling Philips, said it was all about equality and providing a good, loving home for them.
