How do you plan the perfect wedding proposal?

Valentines day is traditionally noted as the most romantic day of the year, where many people exchange cards and buy gifts for their loved ones.

Some people might be tempted to go one step further and propose to their partners, but is there more to a proposal than getting down on one knee?
