Husband tells of moment wife stopped recognising him

A Radio 5 live listener told Tony Livesey what it is like to live with his wife of 50 years who has dementia.

Vic, from Cheltenham, described the brief moment when his wife did recognise him but said it did not last.

The government has launched a training scheme to help boost volunteering and support people with the condition.
