Horsemeat scandal: 'Buy British meat' - MP
When equine DNA was found in beefburgers last month many consumers were very concerned that they could have unknowingly eaten horsemeat.
This week consumer confidence in mass produced meat products was shaken further when Findus found that some of its ready meals contained up to 100% horsemeat.
Retailers have agreed to carry out "more and tougher testing" of beef products in the wake of widespread horsemeat contamination.
