Horsemeat scandal: Food supply chain 'too complex' - Morrisons
The environment minister is meeting with retailers and the Food Standards Agency over the horsemeat scandal.
Owen Paterson wants to know how "beef" products containing up to 100% horsemeat were sold.
Dalton Philips, chief executive of Morrisons, said the key issue that needed addressing was the complexity of the food supply chain.
But he added it could be remedied by "going back to basic retail principles".
