Food minister: 'No reason to suppose health risk'

Food Minister David Heath has said that there is "no evidence" at the moment that unsafe meat has entered the food chain.

Heath told the BBC's World at One: "The Food Standards Agency says there is no reason to suppose there is a health risk and therefore the advice is to carry on with normal shopping habits until you are told otherwise."

Food retailers have been told to carry out tests on all processed beef products after packs of Findus lasagne were found to contain 100% horsemeat.
