Malala Yousafzai: 'I am getting better, day by day'
Pakistani schoolgirl activist Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban, has launched a fund to help girls in Pakistan receive an education.
The 15-year-old said she was getting better ''day by day'' following the treatment she has been receiving at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
''I want every girl, every child to be educated,'' she added.
Malala was speaking before surgery at the weekend to reconstruct her skull and help restore her hearing.
