Halal products withdrawn after 'pork found'
One of Britain's biggest food distribution companies has withdrawn a range of halal products after claims it may have provided products to prisons with traces of pork DNA.
The company 3663 also delivers to hospitals, schools, care homes, hotels and cafes.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the local authority involved was investigating, while the MoJ said the products have been withdrawn.
Under Islamic law, Muslims are strictly forbidden to eat pork.
Tulip Mazumdar reports.
