Flood fears across the UK as snow melts

There has been more bad weather across large parts of the country, with heavy rain and melting snow making many roads treacherous.

Hundreds of people spent Friday night stranded in their cars because of heavy snow across parts of Scotland, northern England and the Midlands.

Concern is now turning to the threat of flooding when the snow melts.
