Snow strands lorry drivers for a week in Dundee

A week after a blanket of snow covered many parts of the UK, the north of Britain is braced for more heavy falls.

But over the coming days, warmer weather is set to thaw the icy conditions, bringing the risk of floods.

The big thaw will come as a welcome relief to some lorry drivers in Dundee, who have been stranded in a lay-by for a week.

Their journey from Germany was halted when snowy conditions made the final 15 miles impassable.

The BBC's Steve Godden went to find out how they have been coping.
