Jet skiers rescued in North Sea were 'minutes from death'
Two men who were rescued from the North Sea said they were "minutes away from death".
Ben Thomson and Gavin Smith from Fife were on a jet ski expedition off Broughty Ferry near Dundee last November, when their jet skis broke down.
The pair spent 4 hours floating in the sea, waiting to be rescued.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, Mr Thomson said they were found by RNLI rescuers only after he blow on a whistle attached to a lifejacket.
