Question Time panellist Mary Beard on sexist online abuse
Mary Beard has spoken out about the online abuse she received after appearing as a panellist on the BBC's Question Time.
The 58-year-old professor of classics at the University of Cambridge told Radio 4's Woman's Hour that the abuse was "like someone giving you a punch".
She said of her decision to go public: "I don't want legal regulation, I want people to treat each other decently online."
