'An army of farmers' help Kent council prepare for snow
Councils in Kent have said they are prepared for heavy snow with up to 5cm (2in) predicted to fall in some parts of the county.
Kent County Council said advanced warning had allowed it to grit all primary and secondary routes.
Bryan Sweetland from Kent County Council told BBC News that an army of farmers with snow ploughs have been deployed to help clear the roads.
