Crash eyewitness: 'Helicopter came straight towards us'
Michael Krumpstets, who lives close to the crash site in Vauxhall, witnessed the moment that the helicopter clipped the top of the crane.
He explained to the BBC how the helicopter started 'spinning towards him' and his flat-mate, before it crashed to the ground.
Police said the helicopter had hit the crane on top of The Tower, One St George Wharf at about 08:00 GMT.
