Rise in insider attacks on foreign troops in Afghanistan
The Ministry of Defence says a British soldier has been killed in Afghanistan. He was shot by a man wearing an Afghan National Army uniform.
The soldier, from 28 Engineer Regiment, attached to 21 Engineer Regiment, died on Monday at Patrol Base Hazrat, in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand.
There has been a rise in insider attacks in Afghanistan, with British troops now at risk in their own camps.
Quentin Sommerville reports from Kabul.
