Broadcaster Stuart Hall denies sexual assault charges
Broadcaster Stuart Hall has pleaded not guilty to three charges of indecent assault.
The 83-year-old from Wilmslow, Cheshire appeared before Preston magistrates to face the three counts and his case was referred to the city's crown court.
The BBC's Judith Moritz says the alleged incidents, involving three girls aged between nine and 16 or 17, are understood to have been committed between 1974 and 1984.
