How forced labour case unfolded

Five members of one family have been found guilty of using forced labour, subjecting workers to repeated violence and humiliation, and paying them as little as £5 a day.

The court in Bristol heard that the Connors family repeatedly beat labourers and hosed them with freezing water in conditions that amounted to modern-day slavery.
