Man in court over Peter Robinson threat

A Belfast man has appeared in court in County Down, charged with threatening to kill Northern Ireland's First Minister, Peter Robinson.

Darren Scott, 34, from Croft Court in east Belfast, is also charged with improper use of an electronic communications network.

Newtownards Magistrates Court was told he made the threat during a call to the 999 emergency number on Wednesday.
